AREA OF IMPLEMENTATION

PROGRAM GOAL & PURPOSE  At Goal Level: The goal of the Economic up-liftment & Empowerment of rural communities through Bee Keeping & Honey production, development programme is to- “Improve quality of life of rural communities through training & employment support and optimum utilization of Natural Resources ( the crops related to flowers, such as sun flower, Mustard flower, vegetables etc ), available in the area.”

 Objective-A-:- To create awareness about various economic benefits of Bee keeping and train framers and youth in their Skill Upgradation.  Achivement:- To imparted training more than 136 people (farmers & local youths) participated as a volunteers in the demonstration & Skill Upgradation programme. About 136 participants get benefitted (Improved bee management and honey product making like royal jelly, bee venom, bee wax, propels and pollen) through demonstration & Skill Upgradation programme. To improve, through Biotechnological intervention, the chain of- PROJECT OBJECTIVES Vs ACHIVEMENT (AS APPROVED BY DBT)

 Objective-B-:- To train and demonstrate 150 youths and farmers from three blocks of sultanpur district of U.P on Bee keeping and diversification of bee products.  Achivement:- As per the objectives 34 candidates have been trained in Bee Keeping and honey processing (Bee product making like Honey, royal jelly, bee venom, bee wax, propels and pollen) and more than 102 people participated as a volunteers in the demonstration programme. After training 06 Household Units are establish and 16 units are in process with getting finance from bank. PRODUCT PROCESSING SUSTAINABILITY (EMPLOYMENT GENERATE) MARKETING TIE-UP To improve, through Biotechnological intervention, the chain of- PROJECT OBJECTIVES Vs ACHIVEMENT (AS APPROVED BY DBT) BEE KEEPING

 Objective-C-:- To develop market linakages through established SHGs, Khadi Gramodyog and other established agenices for the bee products like Royal Jelly, Bee Venom, Bee Wax, porpels and pollen etc.  Achivement:- The organization has created verbal bond to purchase all raw honey produced by farmers at encouraging rates. Marketing tie-up with government department such as KVIB/KVIC, and various domestic & corporate houses. The organization has established three show room one at district level and two at block level. To improve, through Biotechnological intervention, the chain of- PROJECT OBJECTIVES Vs ACHIVEMENT (AS APPROVED BY DBT)

Community Interaction 3. Awareness generation by -  Distribution of Literature,  Public Participation events:-  Quiz;  Honey Quality assessment demonstration-cum-Competitions 2To train and demonstrate 150 youths and farmers on Bee keeping and diversification of bee products. 34 candidates have been trained in Bee Keeping and honey processing (Bee product making like Honey, royal jelly, bee venom, bee wax, propels and pollen) and more than 102 people participated as a volunteers in the demonstration programme.This was accomplished in following stages:-  Awareness Generation for training  Creation of infrastructure  Formation of homogenous groups of maximum 30 farmers. (Kissan clubs, SHGs)  One groups, (34 farmers & youths), have been trained in Skill Upgradation Pogramme & Ten groups (102 farmers & youths) have been trained in demonstration programme. 3To develop market linakages through established SHGs, Khadi Gramodyog and other established agenices for the bee products 1.
