Steps to Submit and Review Items 1.Create an Item 2.Save the Item (non-teacher users will also want to share the item with other users in the saving process) 3.Find your created item and Submit to School/District/State 4.Approvers go to Pending Items and Approve or Return (provide comments as appropriate) 5.Approved item is available to all other users within an institution (school or district) Returned item can be edited and re-submitted for approval

Submitting Items for Approval Once you have created an item, you can save it for your own personal use or you can chose to submit to the next level of approval to share the items with others. –If you have Test Item Administrator or Access to Assessment Management, you will have additional options to share the items with other like users.

Item Submission/Approval for School and District Users School, Test Item Administrator Options District, Test Item Administrator Options
Submit to District School users (with Leadership or Staff roles) will also need the role of Test Item Administrator to submit items to the District Level for approval
Submit to State If items are created at the district level (users with test item administrator) and shared with other users, they can then be submitted to the state
