How it all Started One of the largest life insurance companies in the country asked CRL if we could provide an easy and cost effective e-submission solution for their agencies. In response CRL developed the eZ-App web application which has now been renamed to Zip zAPP. The objectives of Zip zAPP include a low cost entry point ($0.00), highly secure transmissions, data formatted to go directly into the carriers underwriting system, and an extremely easy user interface. Two years later the e-submission application is highly successful with more then 300 agencies submitting thousands of cases per month. Zip zAPP is now available to all carriers and is being introduced nationally to all BGA’s.

Single Sign on With Zip zAPP you will only need one Username and Password to submit cases to multiple carriers.

Submitting a Case The selection of Formal or Informal application is made at the main menu.

Proposed Insured Information Enter proposed insured’s information once and submit informal app to multiple carriers.

Carrier Specific Information Complete the carrier specific info for the case.

Easily Upload Case Documents Easily upload case related documents from your computer.

Review Information All information can be reviewed and edited as necessary

Immediately Receive Policy Number Receive the carrier’s policy number immediately after case is submitted.

Submit to Multiple Carriers Easily submit informal case to multiple carriers

Search for a Case Searches can be performed by any combination of fields to locate existing cases in Zip zAPP.

Search Results The cases matching your search are displayed in an easy to understand table.

Existing Case The case summary shows the basic case information and which carriers it was submitted to previously.

User Administration Zip zAPP provides multiple ways for the agency to self- administer their agency’s Zip zAPP account.

Training Tutorials are available in the Help section of Zip zAPP to assist both existing and new users.
