Japan is a beautiful country which is situated in the east on the Japanese islands.

Tokyo is the capital of Japan. It is a modern city with a lot of skyscrapers which harmonize with traditional japanese buildings.

My brother visited the capital of Japan. Night Tokyo has struck him. One of the national symbols of Japan, the dragon, impressed him very much.

There are still a lot of old buildings and Imperial palaces.

The most part of their culture was taken from China, for example Kanji.

Japanese hymn. Ki-mi-ga-yo o wa Chiyoni yachiyoni sazare ishi no iwa o to narite Koke no musu made. English translation. Thousands of years of happy reign be thine; Rule on, my lord, till what are pebbles now By age united to mighty rocks shall grow Whos venerable sides the moss doth

We can see traditional tea ceremony in tiny tea-houses.

There you will be welcomed by «Geisha». She wears traditional kimono and has a complicated hairdo and a white make up on her face. Geishas are thought to entertain visitors with clever talks, Japanese poetry and traditional «bue» dancing.

Japanese people are thought to be mysterious, philosophical and extraordinary.

Japan is a great country. I’d like to visit it, that’s why to live there is my dream.
