Jewellery in Réunion

How came your passion for art and jewellery in particular? For me, jewellery is primarily a family heritage. My father gave me his passion about craft and creativity and also the harmonious and complementary.

Where did you study? I studied for four years at the Ecole Boulle in Paris led by a team of renowned artists. Finally, I completed the training courses by several casting, of jewellery and sculpture (wood, stone, crystal, ivory...)

What are your artistic practice? My artistic practices are very diverse. All along my activities, I had to face with the most varied fields from architecture to the design of the object (jewellery, sculpture, furniture..) I has a special interest in the creation of jewelery. Those fields are of great rigor, combining a clever compromise between creativity, technology and aesthetics.

What are the different phases necessary to design a jewelry? The stages of implementation are: First step: creating. It is actually a harmonious synthesis between on the one hand, the client's personality, the situation (where, when, why) which defines the theme of creativity.

Second step: Then comes the conceptualization phase, it can be realized in sketches, scale models to determine the choice of shapes, materials and colors. Third step: The implementation phase occurs only if all is well determined to avoid trial and error in manufacturing.
