Assembly mounted on carriage bearing rails Stepper motor and ball screw extends assembly outwards Alignment to motor ports Set number of pulses sent to stepper motor Rotary encoder sends position feedback to computer Ball screw motion
Actuates upon completion of port alignment Extends downward to engage gear motor ports After test is complete – horizontal and vertical assemblies retract
