The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Lindsey Holderman & Miranda Moore

OSHA is a part of the Dept. of Labor and it establishes, issues and enforces national safety regulations in the work place. OSHA was created by the Occupation Safety and Health Act of December 29, OSHA prevents on- the- job accidents occurring at the work place. OSHA worked together with the EPA to ensure the safety of workers the public and agencies. They also work together to protect the public health and environment so they can reduce the potential for workplace related injury, death, and environmental contamination

The Occupational Safety and Health Act is regulated by the Department of Labor
