To raise the awareness of residents in KTSN and create a healthy environment To help in increase the supply of blood the meet the needs of society from time to time To increase the understandings of first aid knowledge among residents in KTSN To encourage and train members of BSMM to be proficient in the application of first aid skills To strengthen the relationships between students of UKM with other organization
Practice the “ concept of 1 Malaysia ” as our committee member consist students from different races Besides, participants and volunteers in this program also involve students from different races Committee members are selected from different courses and years Each division consist of a leader ( Exco ) with experience
I was selected to be AJK protocol. Job Scope : Write the speech for VIP Be the usher of open ceremony Be the emcee of closing ceremony Send invitation letters to VIPs Duty at the registration counter during Blood Donation Campaign
We were having a meeting among Exco and Ajk Protocol. Exco Protocol was dividing the job for each of the Ajk.
Exco protocol was teaching the way to write scripts for pengarah and VIPs.
This program was held from 22/11/2013 ( Friday ) to 24/11/2013 ( Sunday )
5.30pm Gathering of all Exco and Ajk at DSG 5.40pm Wipe the floor of DSG Pick up the rubbish from the floor 6.00pm Carry the chairs from store room and arrange it
6.20pm Carry the information board from the store room and arrange it beside the main door Paste the manilla cards that contain health info on the board 6.30pm Rehearsal the entry of VIP 8.00pm Waiting VIPs in the Bilik Felo Open ceremony started after VIP reached

Blood Donation Campaign Start at 9.00 am End at 4.00 pm Dewan Serbaguna ( DSG ) body weight must exceed 45 kg total 83 bags of donated blood
Age group between years Weight is 45 kgs or more Last blood donation was at least 90 days earlier Have had something to eat and adequate sleep Healthy and do not have any fever or cold in the past one week Not under treatment with antibiotics or any other medication Haemoglobin level is 12.5 gm % minimum
Provide registration form to the volunteers Measure the body weight of volunteers and ensure that not exceed 45 kg Explain the steps and procedures needed to go through in blood donation Make sure the volunteers queue up in a orderly manner
8.00am All members gathered at DSG Waiting for the officer from National Blood Bank Malaysia 8.30am Help to carry the equipments that needed in blood donation 9.00am Blood donation campaign started Duty at the registration counter
12.00pm Lunch time End of duty of first shift & continue the duties by members of second shift 4.00pm End of blood donation campaign Giving souvenirs to the representative from National Blood Bank Malaysia 4.30pm Help in tidy up the equipments

I am one of the emcee during the closing ceremony of “ Minggu Kesihatan Bersama BSMM 2013/2014”
- I can make new friends of different races and most of them are come from other courses I can contribute to the society by organizing the blood donation campaign - I can learn first aid knowledge which is very useful in my life especially during emergency times I can gain experience as usher and emcee during this program
- I have learn to manage the information received from my exco during preparation of script for VIP I have learn to be patient when encounter problems during the preparation of the program - I have improved my communication skills when communicate with the committee members and trained to speak well as emcee of closing ceremony I have trained to become responsible as I will complete the task given by my exco
