What do you need to think about before entering a pool?

Pools 1) Is there a lifeguard on duty? 2) Do you know where the deep end is? 3) Do you know how deep the water is? 4) Is the pool all one depth?

Can you think of any pool rules? STAnley says: Remember - Rules are there for a reason!

Take Safety Advice  Always listen to the lifeguards  Read and take note of safety signs  If it says don’t do it- DON’T!

Take Safety Advice: Beach Safety  Never go onto the beach/sea in bad weather conditions  Look at any signs/flags on the beach  If there is a lifeguard present, always listen to them  Stay away from manmade structures  Stay away from sandbanks and sandbars  Do not use inflatable toys when there is a strong wind or tide.
