OBSTACLE Learn arithmetic and algebra in high school GO FOR EXTRA HELP NOW! Go to WCC and take math classes in the summer Make your goal to earn a C or better in Statistics (see my article)

OPPORTUNITY Earning an A or B in 11 th grade math will open the doors for success in Calculus in college In college take Calculus 1 and Calculus 2 and earn an A or B Sets the foundation for advanced mathematics
