 There is a nationwide emphasis on increasing the number of high school students who graduate and are prepared for education beyond high school and for their chosen fields of work.  In order to achieve this worthy goal the State of Georgia is focusing on providing resources to students that exhibit a high probability of not graduating.

 Work to improve graduation rates for all population subgroups within the school  Perform responsibilities such as gathering and analyzing data for individual students; identifying potential barriers to graduation  Develop and implementing individual intervention strategies  Work with students to develop a graduation and achievement plan to include the best program to meet academic and postsecondary goals.
