Prologue If I were a traveler, I’d visit a lot of countries. However, I can only be limited to one. And I would choose Great Britain, or UK. Why would I choose it? Well, this presentation will tell you why. Programme
About UK The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is a country located in Europe. Official language is English. The nationality is mixed because of the history of the Kingdom. The country consists of 4 major territories – England, Whales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Major cities are London, the capital; Cardiff; Edinburgh; Belfast, and etc. Programme

THE MOTTO “God save the King (Queen)”
Climate The UK is a very rainy country. The rainfall is active for whole year. The climate of Great Britain is temperate, the temperature ranges from -12 °C to 35 °C. The winter snowfall is present. Programme
Language The official language is English, but there are also other languages spoken by the people. Usually, it varies between the territories, e.g. Scottish people also speak Scottish language, though not all of them. There are also a lot of people from other countries which speak their native languages. All of the true British, or Celtic languages are English, Welsh, Scottish, Irish and Cornish. Strangely, the second most-spoken language is Polish, with 546 thousand speakers. Programme
Landmarks There are a lot of landmarks in UK, both city-placed and natural. The most known landmark of the whole Kingdom is Stonehenge (on the photo). Other known landmarks are Windsor castle, Hadrian’s Wall, Cambridge and Blackpool Tower. London, being a landmark itself, has it’s own landmarks, most known being Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, Houses of Parliament, St Paul’s Cathedral and Big Ben. Programme
Epilogue That concludes my presentation. The UK is an interesting country, and I would be really excited to visit it. Maybe someday it will happen. But why “maybe”? Let’s be optimistic! Someday it will happen! Programme
