BAND CAMP

 This year we are asking that each member help to offset the costs the program incurs throughout the fall season in the form of a donation.  For each competition we pay fees of up to $200/event, as well we provide water and snacks for the students at each event, however most importantly we want to have wonderful staff members and instructors that will come in to help improve your student’s abilities.  We are asking for a donation of $ to help cover: the cost of instructors, uniform maintenance, band camp activities, the band shirts we will wear at all events and Band shirt Fridays, water and snacks during events (all band members), our competition entry fees, and the end of the year awards. This does not include the additional expenses listed below.  Additional expenses will include:  $40.00 – Drillmaster Black marching shoes (all band and percussion members)  Color Guard Uniform and equipment/accessories (prices to be determined) FINANCIAL INFORMATION

 I am asking that at least 25% of these costs ($75) be received by the August 1 st, or the end of the first full week of Band Camp, in order to pay for the summer activities, instructors, drill sheets and materials.  The remaining balances will be paid monthly, by the first Friday of every month. If there is a problem with funds, please contact me and arrangements can be made.  The VVHS Crimson Regiment will never deny a student the opportunity to participate in the band due to financial hardships, but each member must attempt to fundraise or solicit donations to help out. (Please make checks payable to VVHS Crimson Regiment).  We will sponsor several fundraising projects that can be used to fund our trips and activities to make it easier on everyone.
