CFHS Softball Booster Club CFHS Softball Booster Club Goals and objectives: Help maintain and improve the athletic facilities at CFHS Support and recognize the efforts of our teams and athletes Provide additional opportunities to our teams and athletes not funded by CFHS & CCISD Have on-going dialogue with the community, increasing awareness of CFHS Softball events Practically, that means We Raise funds to pay for things CCISD does not, such as: – Upgrades to fields and facilities beyond the minimum (wind screens, bull pen frames, etc.) – TeamTournament costs (entry fees, bus costs, hotel, meals) – Meet the Team and End of Season banquets – Honoraria and gifts for program members (e.g. coach gifts, senior photos, teacher appreciation) – Team Spirit items such as locker room and field decorations, event night hair ribbons, team goody bags We support the team, coaches, and community by organizing and executing various functions and fundraisers: – Ordering and selling spirit merchandize – Providing concessions during home games – Organizing special home game event nights such as youth night, teacher appreciation night, Strike Out Cancer night and senior night – Organize softball participation in homecoming activities – Provide volunteers to help maintain the field and facilities – Provide communications with website and hopefully facebook – Arrange for meals for team for away games and playoff games 9/3/20141 charts available at

Traditionally our Biggest Fund Raisers (net profits): Concession Stand: $3500 Meet the Team: $3000 Banner Sales: $1100 Merchandise Sales: $900 Homecoming Carnival: $900 Biggest Expenses: Tournaments: $3600 End of Season Banquet: $1300 Softball Program: $1500 What we’d like from each family: Join the booster club Be Lead for 1 event/function and Deputy for 1 event/function Sell 1 $500 banner (or 2 $300 banners, or 4 $100 signs) Provide 1 raffle and/or 1 silent auction basket (usually 2-3 families contribute to basket) for Meet the Team fundraiser Work several shifts in the concession stand and work shifts or help with other activities as needed NEED CLUB SECRETARY, CONCESSION MANAGER AND HOMECOMING VOLUNTEERS ASAP CFHS Softball Booster Club /3/20142 charts available at
