 Support specific school group/activity  Create vehicle to engage parents/students  Manage and administer activities toward specific goals/objectives  Leverage community assets for group/activity

 Separate name  Booster cannot use school name  Clear purpose and function  Independent Boards  Individuals can serve on both  Separate fundraising  Separate bank accounts & payments

 Arts fall under college deans  Variety of structures are set up to support arts: Booster, Nonprofit, College Account  Foundation and high school interaction  Activities should have clarity of function, purpose, and funding  Families need to support the school, not just the strand

 Chaperones for school activities  Fundraising for strand events and resources  Support for performances (rehearsals)  Strand activity news and updates (newsletter)  Liaison of strand activity and PTSA

 Support academic programs and testing  Finance supplemental resources and supplies  Coordinate volunteers for school events  Support student activities  Provide financial and volunteer support for graduation and Rising Stars (Visual Arts & performance)
