CNRA 10 The closer to the AR the incident occurs, the greater the likelihood for her/his involvement. The higher the temperature of the game, the greater the likelihood for AR involvement.

CNRA 15 If the Referee is unaware or did not have a clear view of an incident due to distance, angle or visual obstruction and needs or asks for help, and... If the AR is 100% sure that an infraction or misconduct has been committed, and feels confident about being able to serve justice and protect the integrity of the game, the... GET INVOLVED!!!... AR should feel and must be empowered to GET INVOLVED!!!

CNRA 16 Summary If the AR does not get involved when needed, he / she would fail the Referee (in particular) 2. Referee Team (as a group) 3. Game (as a whole) And, most likely, impact negatively the outcome of the Game and the overall performance of the Official Team. 17

Conclusion Assistant Referees should approach all games ready to“get involved ”
