What profession is good for someone who likes to tinker? If you are someone who likes to tinker, being an inventor is a good profession.

People thought Robert Goddard was a hoaxer because they didn’t believe he would be able to make a machine that could take people to space and land on the moon. Why did people think Robert Goddard was a hoaxer?

Why did George Washington want horses to trample in his barn? George Washington wanted horses to trample over wheat spread on the floor of the barn so that the grain could drop into slots where it would be dry, stored, and ready to be ground into flour.

Why would the author say that Thomas Edison forged a crew? The author said that Thomas Edison forged a crew because Edison probably had to work long and hard to get his crew of inventors together.

Why did perfecting mass production make Henry Ford famous? Mass production made him famous in two ways. It was the first time cars could be produced in a hurry. Also, other inventors followed his lead to mass produce other important inventions.

Why is being an inventor a quest? Being an inventor is a quest because you will try and try again. Sometimes you will succeed, and sometimes you will fail.

What kind of barriers do inventors face? Inventors face barriers like finding a power source, a different way to communicate, a machine that works medical miracles, or something not yet thought of.
