This camp endured a horrible winter and marked the low point for the Americans.

Valley Forge

George Washington won this battle because he surprised the enemy on December 26 th.

Trenton

Ethan Allen and his Green Mountain Boys made a surprise attack on this fort.

Fort Ticonderoga

It was a big mistake for the British Redcoats to go to this mountain, deep in the Carolinas

King’s Mountain

Before these battles, Paul Revere rode through the countryside shouting “the British are coming.”
