It is not known what happened to the saints relics, although it is most likely they were destroyed during the Scottish Reformation of The place where they were kept within the cathedral is now marked by a plaque. A few relics of St. Andrew are said to remain in Scotland today, including a fragment in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh.
