Written by William Shakespeare between the years , Macbeth was originally performed in Shakespeare’s Globe Theather.

First built in 1599, the Globe Theater was the home of Shakespeare’s acting company until it caught fire from a cannon fired in a play and burned it to the ground in It was rebuilt the next year, but torn down in 1644 when the government closed the theaters of England. It was built again in and still stands.
