Arcita- (Archie) Paul’s cousin. Palamon- (Paul) Arcita’s Cousin Emiliy- the love of Archie and Paul Duke Theseus- the duke of Athens Pirithous- a mutual friend of Archieand Theseus

Theseus, the Duke of Athens, was on his way home with his new wife, Hippolyta, and her sister, Emily, after taking over Scythia. He decides to take on old Creon, the lord of Thebes. After killing Creon, Theseus and his men destroyed the city wall by wall. Eventually he and his men found two knights; Archie and Paul. The two young knights were Royal Cousins. After they were found, Theseus took them to Athens and locked their asses up.

While chilling in their cell the cousins see this dime- piece Emily in the garden. They both fall in love with her and begin to plot on how to get out of jail to marry Emily. Eventually, Pirithous a mutual friend of Archie and Theseus, bribes Arcita’s way out of jail, barring that Archie remains in exile. All the while Paul escapes from jail with help from another prisoner. Now free, Archie and Paul plan to get in contact with Emily to express the love they have for her.

I n time, the two recognize one another and challenge each other to a duel. At the duel they fight ferociously, but then they were stopped by Theseus. P aul admits to who he and Archie were, and tells Theseus that both of them are in love with Emiliy. Theseus then makes up a challenge where the two knights and one hundred other soldiers from each side will battle for Emily’s love.

Knight's Tale

T he battle is pandemonium, people are being sliced and diced left and right. T hen Paul gets stabbed but does not die, a last he does give up. Making Archie the WINNER ! B ut Archies horse was spooked by an earthquake and Archie falls. The fall mortally wounds him. S o Theseus then makes Emily marry Paul they actually lived happily ever after ( so cliché).

Archie prays to Mars for victory The Statue then whispers “victory” to Archie Paul prays to Venus for the love of Emily Venus’ statue shook Emily prays to Diana to not be forced to marry one of them But if fate wants her to marry one of the victors she will accept The statue of Diana eyes start to bleed Saturn the wisest God decides to let every prayer come true.

Saturn- god of agriculture Mars- the god of war Venus- the goddess of love Diana- goddess of chastity

Characteristics: Chivalric: Archie would not kill Paul because he was disarmed, which shows that knights believe in chivalry. God Fearing: They pray to gods constantly for answers but they also always get the answer Treats woman like trophies: The men don’t give women the chose of whom they wish to marry. Thrill: Sense of adventure so they go on quests Theseus turned a simple duel into a full out battle.
