Some Kittens Can Fly! A children’s book by Eric Spanitz

Isabelle was sad. She wanted to cry.

Then she remembered: Some kittens can fly!

She ran out of her room And then down the stairs

She didn’t go slowly She jumped them in pairs.

Isabelle – She ran this way and that

She wanted to find Her black baby cat.

There it is! She yelled so all could hear She pointed her finger and said “You come here!”

Over walked the kitten with a twinkle in its eye The kitten was thinking “soon I will fly!”

Back up to her room Is ran with the cat She opened the window and screen just like that.

While throwing the cat Isabelle yelled “Goodbye!” And once out the window the kitten did fly!

The kitten did some flips, she looked rather dandy, Then flew to the store to get Isabelle candy.

She flew right back to Isabelle waiting And gave her the candy with no hesitating.

Isabelle ate all the candy, and thought with a smile “I knew she could fly! I knew all the while!”
