Praying Mantis Three life cycle stages: Egg Nymph Adult Habitat: Gardens, plants, grass Diet: flies, aphids, moths, butterflies, other insects **Incomplete Metamorphosis**

Fun Facts Butterflies can only fly if their temperature is above 86 degrees. Butterflies can fly between 5-30 miles per hour! The number of spots on a ladybug can tell you what kind it is! Ladybugs play dead if they are in danger. Praying mantids only eat live insects. Mantids can move their heads in almost a full circle!
