Spain is not the second most visited country in the world for nothing (the first is France). Spain's attractions are matchless. But how you enjoy your trip to Spain will depend very much on where you decide to take it, for Spain is not a single, homogeneous country, but many countries in one. It has 17 regions or communities, the largest being Castilla y León

The Autonomous Community of Castile and León is located to the north west of Madrid, and has no coastline. It is the largest community in Spain, covering over 94,000 square kilometres, and with a 2005 population of two and a half million people.
