The NEW Patana Card Secondary Student Information

Access into School Library Card Set Lunch card Lunch – e-coupon E-purse – noodles, smoothies and snacks. PATANA CARD Secondary Student Use

Secondary students should all swipe at the point they enter and exit school. Place your card photo side down on the area as indicated. Access

Secondary students should use their Patana Card to borrow books from the library. Choose your books and show your card at the Library desk. Library

Set Lunch – if set lunch has been requested (or you had it last year) it has been added to your card and can be used in the Secondary Canteen and noodle bar by tapping at the entrance point and waiting for the machine to read ‘Thank You’. Note 1: Make sure you tap at the correct point at the noodle bar – clearly signed ‘set lunch’ (otherwise you will be charged from e-purse if you use the wrong machine). Note 2: If you have forgotten your card you can go to Food Services near Reception at 12.30pm to get a daily single use card that must be handed into staff as you enter the canteen Lunch – for students on the termly set lunch programme.

Lunch – for students not on the set lunch programme. Purchase lunch ‘e-coupons’ for THB70 each at the Top Up points. This is for Secondary Canteen buffet lunch only (not applicable to the noodle bar). Enter the canteen via the turnstyles.

NOODLE BAR, SMOOTHIE BAR, SNACK BARS E-purse (cash) on your card can be used at the Noodle, Smoothie and Snack bars. Add the required amount by paying cash at a TOP UP point for ‘e-purse’. You will receive a receipt confirming the amount added to the card. The value of the amount purchased will be deducted at the Point of Sale and will show the amount to be deducted and the remaining balance when you tap your card.

TOP UP Points Cashier – front of school Smoothie Bar Noodle Bar Cashier – at cross roads School Shop Primary Snack Bar Maximum THB 2000 Eg. Tell staff – 5 lunch coupons and THB 300 e-purse = THB 650 Staff will add it to your card and print a receipt.

Checking your Balance Balance Check Machines around school will give you the e-purse balance. When you purchase an item from snack, smoothie, noodle bars – your e-purse balance will be displayed. To check e-coupons (Lunches) go to a Top Up point & ask the cashier to let you know how many e-coupons you have left. For students on Set lunch and the card is not working please check it has been added by going to Reception.

Temporary cards Problems with the card Temporary Cards Available from the Secondary Office if you have forgotten or lost your card and want to purchase a snack or lunch. Top up only what you need and return to Secondary office with 0 credit – it is non refundable. Problems/ Lost Cards Contact Reception to report any problems with your card and/or to report lost cards..

Look after your card! A replacement card will cost THB 300 and you may also lose any balance on the card. If you find a card – please take it to Reception or the Secondary Office. For more information go to or contact Reception.
