President John Adams was only president for one four- year term. He was president from the years 1779 to 1801.

John Adams was born to Susanna Adams on the 30 th of October in He was born in Braintree, Massachusetts. Braintree is now known as Quincy, Massachusetts.

John Adams died on the 4 th of July in the year of He died in Braintree. John died on the same day as his friend Thomas Jefferson. He also died in the same year as Thomas Jefferson.

In his early life, John helped his father with work around the family farm. After a while, John Adams Sr. wanted John to go to school. But, John Adams Jr. would often skip school to fish and hunt. John had two brothers. He was also a deacon at his church. A deacon is someone who is a messenger or a servant usually related to church.

John skipped a lot of school. I don’t know which school John went to when he was little. So when he was old enough, John went to Harvard College. He went to college to become a lawyer.

Before he was President, John Adams was a teacher and a lawyer. He was also a diplomat. Then he became a surveyor.

During his political journey, John Adams was a lawyer. He was also a member of the Continental Congress. Then he became President.

John Adams had a lot of nicknames. One was the Duke of Braintree. Another one was his Roundity(he was kind of chubby). Next is The Atlas of Independence. John was also called Bonny Johnny. He was also very hot- tempered.

There were three main events when John Adams was President. One was the XYZ affair. The XYZ affair was a diplomatic episode when America thought France had insulted it. Affair

Another one was the Stamp Act. The stamp act was when England started putting a tax on every stamp that was imported from England. The last one was Jay’s Treaty. That was when America and Great Brittan went to war because they couldn’t trade peacefully.
