- the classic greek sculptures were characterized as freedom of movement, and expression of freedom. -artist of this period were exploring the figure of mankind. that is why the greek sculpture are so bold and free. - only a few of the greek art work has survived, from natural deserters. Many of the greek were made out of stone, gold, bronze and silver. And over the years the a destroyed because they break apart. -And the whole world has been inspired by the freedom,appearance, and the structure of the greek sculpture. - There are three periods known as Archaic period (8th to early 5th century BC) Classical period (5th to 4th century BC), Hellenistic period (late 4th - 1st century BC) all classify the sculptures.
