Male Jewel Spiders are much smaller then female Jewel Spiders. These spiders are very timid creatures and they don’t normally leave their webs. Also, they normally do not bite people. Jewel Spiders are also called the cat spider. That is because the shape and pattern on the abdomen looks like a cat.
