Carrier Relations – Existing System Major activities with carriers winding down Life Events Testing Life Events Processes Backlog Reduction Reconciliation Goal is to wrap up any major activities before end of July Operationalize new operational processes and EDI Status 2

Carrier Relations – Existing System EDI Testing with Medical Carriers winding down –On target to complete by months end –Process in place to operationalize Backlog Reduction –Backlog reduced almost 50% since May Developed operational and technical processes –Outreach strategy –Policy for SEP –Outreach underway for aging out dependents Life Events 3

Dry Run –Designed to test the overall process –Carriers able to process files –A few ran a trial run and reported back Results were positive (albeit from a small sample) June Production Run –Designed to reconcile contracts and members Files transmitted to all carriers by first week of July Waiting on reconciliation reports Still need to refine process for data cleansing Anticipate one or two more cycles before data is completely reconciled and cleansed Reconciliation 4
