Professional High School “Georgi Sava Rakovski” Kostenets Bulgaria
History of the school The school was founded on September 17, 1990 as a professional school in mechanics by an act of the Ministry of Culture, Science and Education. On April 12, 2003 it was converted into a Professional High School.
Campus There are 11 classrooms, 5 workshops for educational needs, a computer room and a gym in the school. The students are trained in computer skills in a multimedia classroom and have access to an English library.
During the school year 20011/2012 the Professional High School “Georgi Sava Rakovski” trained students in three professional courses: 1. Mechanics. 2. Management of tourist agency. 3. Fashion design and technology.

Staff The training process is provided by 18 highly qualified teachers in professional and general education
Out of school activities, contests and competitions The awards and participation of the students from our school show not only their excellent knowledge but also their imagination and creative thinking.
They have the opportunities to participate in out of school activities like theatre, dance courses, acrobatics and badminton
Participation - Traditional contests “The best in the profession”- Bulgarian education festival-National Palace of Culture, Sofia, Design contest – Sofia, Regional contest – catwalk : “Modern youth clothing with folk elements from Bulgaria” – 2010 in the town of Montana.
Sports games, in cooperation with the Municipality Kostenets, Fire Department, and Civil Defense.
The school organizes trips with educational goals in Bulgaria and abroad
