Why is it important? Small businesses alone account for more than: 99% of all businesses with employees Employ 50% of all private sector workers Provide nearly 45% of the nation’s payroll

Federal Statistics 93% of businesses that lose their data center for 10 days or more file for bankruptcy within one year. 50% file immediately

What’s it all about? Public Readiness Index (PRI) A first-of-its-kind survey-based tool Measures the public’s preparedness for emergencies Used geographically, organizationally or individually “Making Escambia County the Most Disaster Resilient Community in America.”

What’s your RQ? An instant score that helps BRACE provide personalized tips on how to improve readiness. Are based on responses to ten questions. Examines what you know and what you should do prior to an emergency.
