PHILOSOPHY

INFLUENCE INDIVIDUAL CORPORATE

MISSION STATEMENT WE WILL ATTEND CLASS! WE WILL EDUCATE! WE WILL GRADUATE! WE WILL PLAY HARD! ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!

TEAM CONDUCT Playing college football is a privilege! It is not a right! I have never been a man that believed in a multitude of rules. I will treat you as a young man, so I expect you to conduct yourself as a young man. I ask you to always apply the following questions to any decisions that you chose to make: Will the results of my actions make my team or family proud of me? Will the results of my actions make me a better student, or a better human being? If the above answer to both questions is “yes”, then Coach Wilson probably will not have a problem with your choice. The following are my expectations of you as players: Get an Education. (People) Plan for Graduation. Play hard each play of practice and the game. One play at a time! Improve in the weight-room. Attitude is everything! Keep it positive! Keep it real! Do not miss class or academic appointments! Plan to attend the first session of summer school. Hustle from drill-to-drill on the field; never walk off the football field! The following are expectations of us as your coaches: Confront you daily concerning your academic progress. Meet with you weekly, by position, concerning your academic time management. Constantly improve our coaching skills by networking professionally. Provide an open door policy to you, the student-athlete (Note: Understand protocol; position/coordinator/Head Coach). We may be critical of the performance, but not critical of you, the individual. Will not let failure enter into our mind! We will tell you quick and often that we love you!

BASIS FOR HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS IN ORDER TO HAVE A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP (3) QUESTIONS MUST BE ASKED, AND THE ANSWER “YES” MUST BE THE RESPONSE ITO ALL THREE! CAN I TRUST YOU? SOME PEOPLE CONTRIBUTE SOME PEOPLE TOTALLY COMMIT EITHER SCENARIO…… ARE YOU COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE? DO YOU CARE ABOUT OTHERS? MOST PEOPLE ARE NOT CONCERNED WITH HOW MUCH YOU KNOW, AS MUCH AS THEY ARE CONCERNED WITH, HOW MUCH DO YOU CARE!

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO? [CHOICES]

WHAT IS YOUR PLAN OF ACTION?

MASTER YOUR EMOTIONS !

SEE IT THROUGH! When you are up against a struggle meet it squarely face to face. Lift your chin and set your shoulders, plant your feet and take a brace. If it is vain to try and dodge it, do the best that you can do. You may fail, but you may conquer…. SEE IT THROUGH!

Black may be the clouds about you and your future may seem dim. But don’t let your nerve desert you, keep yourself in fighting trim. If the worse is bound to happen, spite of all that you can do. Running from it will not save you… SEE IT THROUGH! Even hope may seem but futile, when with troubles you’re beset. But remember, you are facing just what other men have met. You may fall, but fall still fighting

Even hope may seem but futile when with troubles you’re beset. But remember you are facing just what other men have met. You may fail, but fall still fighting. Don’t give up whatever you do. Eyes front, head high to the finish… SEE IT THROUGH!!!
