Indirect Object Pronouns An Indirect Object answers the question to whom?, or for whom? I give the money to John. I give (to) John the money. A Pronoun takes the place of a noun. I give the money to him I give him the money.

In Spanish the Indirect Object Pronouns are: To me me to us nos To you [tú] te To him to them les To her le to you [Uds] les To you [Ud] These are the same pronouns used with GUSTAR

The Indirect Object Pronouns are placed directly in front of a conjugated verb, just like when using GUSTAR. I give him the money. Le doy el dinero. Is the doctor seeing you? ¿Te ve el medico? Yes, he is examining me. Sí, me examina. Is he giving you a presecription? ¿Te da una receta? When we have the flu, he prescribes antibiotics for us. Cuando tenemos la gripe, nos receta antibióticos.
