SNOW IS FALLING What is the Form SNOW IS FALLING What is the Form? A B Play the Xylophone five tone scale. Sing the song. Sing and Play. Can you add some Jingle Bells? Verse 1 C-Snow is falling from the sky above. D-Snow is falling. Put on your scarf and gloves. E-Snow is falling, go and look outside. F-Snow is falling, on our sled we slide. G-Snow is falling, G-Snow F-is E- fal- D-ling C-down. Verse 2 C-Snow is falling, let’s have a snowball fight. D-Snow is falling, glittering in the light. E- Snow is falling the grass can not be seen. F- Snow is falling the trees are evergreen.

Make up your own snow song. Use a repeating line like “Snow is falling”. Brainstorm rhyming words that describe things you can do in the snow. Follow the A B pattern and create your own lyrics. Add instrument parts on the xylophones for Sol and Mi. Add rhythm parts using wood blocks, sticks and shakers.

ARIZONA SONG Use the pattern for the snow song and compose a song about Arizona.
