Paraclete Training 3 Phases ▫ Basic Operator / Dispatcher  Day to Day users of the system ▫ Communications Director / Emergency Manager  Individuals who will be establishing plans and maintaining the system at the local level ▫ Paraclete Technician  Small group of individuals across the state who can work on the hardware and software

What is Paraclete? A network of hardware utilizing software that allows radio communication via the internet The software enables you to connect UHF, VHF and 800mhz radios together

Where is Paraclete

Nebraska Mutual Aid Project Mutual Aid … ▫ Is a system of analog radio base stations across the State controlled by local/regional system operators, using common, nationally accepted frequencies to allow interoperable radio coverage for mutual aid. ▫ Allows first responders, such as the Nebraska State Patrol and local fire or law enforcement to talk to each other in an emergency that crosses local boundary lines.
