 Napoleon's army weakened from attacking Russia  He created a new army afterwards, but it was untrained.  European forces destroyed his new army at the German city of Leipzig.  In April 1814, the armies of Austria, Russia, and Prussia reached France’s capitol, where Napoleon surrendered because his generals didn’t want to keep on fighting.

 June 15, Napoleon attacked the British in Waterloo, Belgium. Prussian forces arrived later on.  Reasons for defeat: - Napoleon's army was outnumbered - European allies quickly prepared and were well trained - Napoleon's men were worn out
