Need to Withdraw from a Class?

What is a Withdrawal Action that occurs when a course is removed from a student’s schedule A withdrawal is recorded on your TC transcript and will be listed as a “W”

How to Withdraw Speak with your instructor See an advisor before withdrawing from your classes An advisor can assist you or you can withdraw online using TConnect

How to Withdraw If you want to withdraw from ANY developmental class, see your advisor If you withdraw from your only developmental class, you will be dropped from all other classes

Drop Rule No more than 6 drops allowed throughout entire undergraduate college career in Texas Drops transfer from institution to institution

If you are using any federal funds, see Financial Aid or your advisor BEFORE withdrawing You may owe a portion of tuition & fees This could impact future Financial Aid disbursements
