Whooping cough was discovered in 1906 by two French scientists and they found the pertussis bacteria. 5,000 to 10,000 people died due to the whooping cough bacteria. Whooping cough now kills about 30 people n year due to us now having vaccines available to us. WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF THE DISEASE, WHERE WAS IT FIST DISCOVERED?

I guess it would be useful to find a cure that will stop it forever I guess we could do research and experiment to find a better cure.
