Characters and Information on them Greg Heffly is the main character who faces problems throughout the story.Rowley is his best friend.Greg lives with his brother Rodrick,his brother Manny,his Mom and his Dad.

Setting The setting is Greg’s house and Greg’s school.It takes place in the present.In the story it is winter.

Summary Greg and his best friend Rowley are fighting.Greg goes through tough situations like getting blamed for grafeti on school property,losing a doll and getting trapped in his house from a snow storm.How ever he tries to overcome the problems and have fun.

Book Review This book is great for children 7-12.It is a very funny book that is great for kids.It is overall a great series.I would give this book 5 stars.
