Still Amazed Amazing grace how sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost but now am found Was blind but now I see. Are you still amazed?

Your love is amazing, steady and unchanging Your love is a mountain, firm beneath my feet Your love is a mystery, how You gently lift me When I am surrounded, Your love carries me Are you still amazed?

Amazing love! How can it be? That Thou, my God Shouldst die for me! Are you still amazed?

Still Amazed Are you still amazed? I think that Philip probably was! So he shared the Good News about Jesus! And revival broke out in Samaria!

Are you still amazed? The Ethiopian Eunuch—needed to be Who was he?

Who was the eunuch? He had power Treasurer to Candace the queen of Ethiopia A worshiper—v 27 A student of the word—v 28 Teachable—v31 Ready and willing to be amazed—v 34 Are you still amazed?

The Passage—Isaiah 53 (pew Bible p570)  v1&2—His birth  v3—His life and ministry  v4-9—His death in our place  1Peter 2:24 He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.—v4 Does this amaze you?

Then he rolled a great stone across the entrance and left.—v9 Are you amazed?

Still Amazed The Passage—Isaiah 53 (pew Bible p570) vv10-12—the victory of His resurrection LLuke 23:34, 37 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice… They called out to him, “If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!” Are you amazed?

Who are you? Do you have power? Do others follow you?—It’s not enough Are you a worshiper? Do you attend church?—It’s not enough Are you a student of the word? Do you read the Bible and know what it says?—It’s not enough John 5:39-40 “You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me! Yet you refuse to come to me to receive this life.”

Still Amazed Who are you? Are you teachable? Ever learning but unable to come to the knowledge of the truth?—It’s not enough Are you ready and willing to be amazed? Jesus loves you! Enough to die for you!

Still Amazed Jesus died so that you can live! Jesus rose from the grave so that you are not bound in death! Jesus took and forgave your sin! Are you amazed?

Are you amazed enough to love Him back? Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

Are you still amazed? Philip was! He was amazed that God allowed him the privilege to be a part of His work! Enough to go to the wilderness and share his love!

Are you still amazed? Living Jesus, Living Hope! Being amazed enough to tell your story!
