There is only ONE G-d who has manifested Himself to the world in diverse forms across the ages. G-d revealed Himself as Father in the creation of the universe, as Son in the Redemption of humanity and as the Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Spirit in these last days as the facilitator of the restoration of Israel
Yahweh Is One Deuteronomy 6:4-5 – Shema Zachariah 14:9 Deuteronomy 32:29 Isaiah 43:10 Isaiah 44:6-8 Isaiah 45:21-22 Joel 2:32
Yeshua Is Yahweh When you see Yeshua speaking to G-d in the scripture, He is showing you how to relate to G-d. Romans 3:27-31 Ephesians 4:4-6 Galatians 3:20 Mark 12:23-32 James 2:19
The Divnity of Messiah – Yeshua HaMashiach is G-d manifested in the flesh. The mystery of the Godhead is not related to the Trinity. Rather, the msytery surrounds the illumination that Yeshua was G-d at the same time that He was flesh
Consider………. Yeshua in His Divinity is G-d….and in His humanity is man Yeshua in His Divinity is Father….and in His humanity is son Yeshua in His Divinity is Spirit…..and in His humanity is flesh Yeshua is G-d, came to save us…and as human He died to redeem us
Hebrews 1:1-4 Isaiah 12:1-6 (key vs 3) Colossians 2:8-10 1 John 5:20 – “Son of God” means Yud Hey Vav Hey in Hebrew Titus 2:11-14 Jude 25 Romans 9:3-5 1 Timothy 1:15-17 John 20:26-27
If there is only one G-d and Yeshua HaMashiach is the One True G-d who manifested Himself in the flesh –then the God of the “Old Testament” is NOT a separate God form the “New Testament” The idea of a stern “law-giving God” of the Old Testament and a gentle, kind and long suffering God of the New Testament as revealed by Yeshua was advanced by a 2 nd century heretic named MARCION
Marcion belived in the dualism of G-d i.e more then one God. Marcion’s theory was so offensive to the Church fathers that they branded him a heretic and had him excommunicated in the mid 2 nd century. Afterwards Marcion began his own sect of Christianity in Rome and by the end of the 2 nd century, Marcion’s doctrine had nearly replaced the teaching of Yeshua and His Talmidim that YHWH was ONE
Marcion taught that the Old Testament – specifically the Torah- was to be rejected in its entirety because it belonged to an evil inferior god who was the G-d of the Jews and not the G-d revealed by Yeshua. Marcion taught that nothing truthful or good was found in the Torah and that Yeshua rendered it obsolete. Marcions doctrine claiming the dualism of god continues to infiltrate many Churches today. This doctrine helped to form the basis of the modern concept known as the Trinity.
