EVERY STATE (COUNTRY) MUST PERFORM THREE FUNCTIONS: (ARISTOTLE) 1.States must deliberate about what is to be done and decide what public policy should be. KNOWN AS LEGISLATIVE FUNCTION: Deliberating on and enacting law. 2.States must perform an executive function, through which public officials carry out public policy. KNOWN AS EXECUTIVE FUNCTION: Enforcing the enacted law. 3.States must perform an judicial function, through which disputes about the interpretation of law are managed and applied in everyday life. KNOWN AS JUDICIAL FUNCTION: Constitutionality of the law.

You have been nominated to work in various committees to create a modern constitution to meet the needs of our society in You have complete create license to change the current formation of government, but the goal is to continue to honor the Preamble of the original Constitution, which states: We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

THINGS TO CONSIDER 1.Should you write your constitution out or honor an unwritten constitution? 2.How would you organize the powers divided between the current three branches? 3.Would you fundamentally change any of the current branches…WHY? 4.How would you handle corruption? 5.How would you handle campaigning? 6.How would you handle the two-party system?
