SPIRITUAL GIFTS x UNIVERSAL FUNCTION The expression “universal function” indicates tasks that are obligations of all Christians, no matter what their spiritual gifts are. Each Christian should perform them. A specific “spiritual gift” cannot be demanded of each Christian.
