Traditional games in Spain TROMPO GOMA CANICAS RAYUELA

TROMPO

Trompo The top was once one of the most practical games for most children. The top is made from a piece of hardwood in a conical shape (pear) with a metal tip (peak, cleft) on which it is rotated. In the upper cylinder has a sort of flat or hat, called a spike, which gives support to wind the thread.

Trompo To make a spin turn, the string is wound from the pick to the pin, and then spun to the ground.

GOMA

Goma The elastic gum rubber or jump to the child is a traditional game which involves making a series of rhythmic jumps on a rubber band. The rubber is played with different levels of difficulty going to play at the ankle, knee level and to the height of the waist. You can have up to six levels: ankle, mid-calf, knee, mid- thigh, hip and waist.

Goma The gum is a game that is especially popular among girls. To do this, use a rubber band together with a knot at the edges. Two girls are put on the sides holding it with his legs apart so that it is a space in the middle to jump. Then, one or more girls have to perform certain exercises to the beat of clapping songs and interpreting the participants.

Goma There is large number of songs to accompany the breaks on the rubber. For its part, the exercises may include: Tread rubber tires or both with one foot or both feet. Skip the foot or leg above the gum. Roll up and unroll the rubber to the leg. Jump with both feet in the center or leaving one out. You can also get to play solo, holding the rubber on the legs of two chairs.

CANICAS

Marbles To play marbles you prefer a land area because the floor prevents the holes for playing some games. The children draw a circle about two feet across and within it the marbles are placed bet, also draws a line away from the circle, the first shot will be toward the line, who is closest to you will have the first shot into the circle. Players in turn try to remove the marbles from the circle to stay with them, who takes a marble can continue shooting until he fails and if the player is inside the circle can continue pulling from there until you pull it out.

Marbles This game is known from ancient Egypt, [citation needed] as found in the tomb of an Egyptian child around 3000 a. C. We also know that in Crete the children played with marbles polished precious materials. Other primitive peoples used coarser materials such as bones of olives, hazelnuts and chestnuts to play marbles. In ancient Rome the game was very popular among children, which remained popular during the Middle Ages. Even at the beginning of the twentieth century some marbles were made of stone. It is currently held world championships.

RAYUELA

Rayuela The number of players is unlimited. The materials used are a stone and some chalks.

Rayuela Stones are thrown across the center of a mud-rectangle. Players in turn jump from one rectangle to another following the numbers up and down the series of rectangles.
