HIMCURT’Z Air Curtains – The Inside Story 1. INLET : Specially designed to ensure minimum loss due to suction pressure drops, hereby, resulting in maximum performance. The grill is elegant in looks and merges with the main chasis and has Neoprene Rubber washers to curtail vibrations. 2. OUTLET : An opening of 3 inches for maximum out put. It is also provided with louvers which enable you to direct the flow of air.

3. RADIAL FLOW FANS 3. RADIAL FLOW FANS A unique feature of HIMCURT’Z is its ABS Radial Flow Fans. These are rigid, light weight, long lasting, maintenance free and anti-corrosive. These ABS Radial Flow Fans enhance the efficiency of HIMCURT’Z as they are lighter than the impellers made of aluminium by 70% and mild steel by 90%. The load on the motor is negligible due to light weight of the ABS Radial Flow Fans, resulting in better performance of HIMCURT’Z and also minimising wear and tear. The ABS Radial Flow Fans rotate at the same speed as the rated RPM of the motor as the torque loss is negligible. They also maintain a uniform output velocity of air at a low level power consumption. 4. MOTOR AND CAPACITOR : General Electrical (GE) 1/5 th or 1/3 rd HP, 230V single phase motor for heavy duty usage. Double shafted with a built in miniature reservoir for lubricants. Specially designed for use in Air Curtains with zero noise level. The motor is encased in a special alloy housing to ensure self cooling. Start and run capacitor also from GE ensures smooth starting of the Air Curtain.

5 5. BEARING : SKF Bearing is fixed rigidly to a shaft on which one end of the Radial Flow Fan is fastened. Another bearing is housed in the BOSS (Bearing House) and fastened to the body of the Air Curtain. The bearings are provided with Neoprene Rubber Dampners to eliminate vibration and noise. 6. FASTENERS : All fasteners like Nuts, Bolts and Screws are of GKW make. Grub screws used to fasten the impellers on the shaft to the motor are made by UNBROKO. 7. ELIMINATES VACCUM AREAS : The only Air Curtain with 100% coverage for total protection. 8.
