 Is there a deadline for joining the club? ◦ No, new players can join at any time. Please recruit!  My 6 th grader is 11 yrs old. Which age group? ◦ If he/she turned 12 after 1-Sept 2012, either U12, Middle School or both. Your choice.  My player is smaller but over the birth date cutoff. Can he/she play at a lower level? ◦ Yes. If we have sufficient players to form two sides per age group, player will be divided by weight and play same-weight sides from other clubs

 Will rain cancel practice & home matches? ◦ No, when the venue is an all-weather field  End of the year party? ◦ U8/U10 & U12: 1 st week of April ◦ HS & MS: 2 nd week of May  Sibling Discounts? ◦ 10% off the lesser dues amounts of the 2 nd & any additional siblings  Are payment plans available? ◦ Yes.  My child has never played rugby before. Can he/she still compete? ◦ Over 50% of club players are 1 st year players ◦ Skills in other sports carry over into rugby  Basketball – passing and moving to open space  Wrestling – close contact  Soccer – running  Football – running with the ball & tackling  Cross country & track: running, fitness & endurance

 How competitive is NorCal youth rugby? ◦ Youth rugby is about fun and learning the sport. As a result, no league standings are kept at U8 through Middle School. ◦ NorCal High School rugby is very competitive: The national and state champions play in our division.  Girls: Which Cavaliers team? ◦ 9 th – 12 th grade girls: Girls Varsity ◦ K through 6 th grade girls: Coed age group teams ◦ 7 th & 8 th grade girls: Either team or both
