Expressing extremes in Spanish How to make adjectives extreme and nouns small and affectionate 

Making adjectives say “extremely” ____ Adding the suffixes ísimo, ísima, ísimos, ísimas to adjectives in Spanish adds the meaning “very” or “extremely” to that word. The ending of the suffix matches the noun being described. For adjectives that end in –ble, change to –bil before adding the new ending. Adjectives with an accent mark lose the accent mark when the ending is added. Adjectives that end in –co/-ca, -go/-ga, or –z require a spelling change: c becomes qu g becomes gu z becomes c

Expressing affection or small size Adding the suffixes –ito/a/os/as, -cito/a/os/as, -illo/a/os/as, -uelo/a/os/as, & -ico/a/os/as to nouns shows affection or indicate small size.
