 My full name is Darian Chanel Owen.  I am 17 years old.  I was born December the 9 th,  Halifax Regional Hospital is my birth place.

 Father: Kenneth “Scott” Owen, age 40.  Mother: Angie Lee Owen, age 34.  Brother: Kenneth James “K.J.” Owen, age 13.  Sister: Taryn Lee Owen, age 7.

 I am very serious about music. It is a huge part of my life. I mostly enjoy alternative rock, metal, but I’m easy to get along with, so really I’ll listen to anything. I particularly do not like country music though.  Another interest of mine is the zodiac signs, and astrology (outer space, stars)  Being that I am a December 9 th baby, my zodiac sign is a Sagittarius.

 Another Important part of my life is tattoos & tattooing.  I have been practicing the art of tattooing since I was 13.  My father originally became interested, and got me into it.  I’ve probably completed over 40 tattoos in my beginning career.  I plan to earn a bachelor’s degree in graphic design at the VA Beach Art Institutes. Hopefully after completing college, I may have the opportunity to earn an apprenticeship in a tattoo parlor, and eventually become a licensed artist.

I have a sunburst corn snake, named snake. He is about 4 and 1/2ft long. And about 5 years old. Although these pictures aren’t actually my snake, I thought they were extremely interesting!

 I am not a very picky person, I enjoy a lot of different types of food.  For a main entre I love Alfredo with chicken, broccoli and mushrooms. I love Italian food.  I also love Chinese, and Thai. There isn’t a lot of difference, except Thai food is known for using a lot of spices. Hot food!  For dessert I'm actually a bit different than most. I absolutely do not like chocolate. Especially chocolate cake & ice cream. I can eat some candy bars but they’re not my favorite. I love fruit! Strawberries and bananas are my favorite. Cheese cake is probably my favorite dessert.

 The subject I enjoy the most would be science. I love environmental science, astrology, oceanography and anatomy. All of these I find quite fascinating.  The subject I do the best in would be English. I am very good at grammar, spelling, literature, and reading comprehension. I am very precise I guess you could say, when it comes to proper etiquette. Don’t be a bad speller, or I’m prone to making fun of you! Its common sense!

I am very involved in forensics, as well as theater. Ive been in a few plays that Randolph Henry has presented.

There are so many things I could say about my personality. To sum it up, I am usually very loud and outgoing. I seem to freely speak my mind. I love to be around people and have a good time. I love to travel, and I am definitely fun loving!

Honestly, our world today doesn’t exactly impress me. There aren’t many people I can say I look up to.

I plan to graduate high school, and hopefully join the united states military, the air force branch.

If for some reason the military doesn’t work out for me, I plan to attend The Art Institutes of Virginia Beach, majoring in graphic design. As I’ve said before, I have always had a passion for art. I have been in contact with an admissions director from the school, and they are extremely interested in me. Not only does the school extremely appeal to me, but I also absolutely love the area! Right in town center VA Beach, not even a mile from the ocean front!

I absolutely love the beach, and when I have enough money after working and going to school, I will hopefully be able to move far away to a beautiful beach. Perhaps the west coast, Southern California. West Palm Beach, Florida. Honestly it doesn’t even matter, as long as I can watch the sun rise and set every day over the ocean

There isn’t anyway possible that I could pick one favorite song. There is so much music in the world that I enjoy, simply thousands upon thousands of awesome songs!! Examples: Can Your Feel My Heart, Closure, Like A Stone, One. To The Stage, Not The American Average, God Wears Gucci, Pray, A Prophecy. Many, many more!

Some places I haven’t ever been to, but would love to travel to, are places like Hawaii, Florida, California, and many many more!

WHAT WOULD I DO WITH A MILLION DOLLARS?! I would first make sure, that my family and I were completely set with anything we needed and wanted. Then I would put a whole bunch back into savings for when I have kids, and for when my kids have kids, so they could all be set. With the rest, I would donate it to deserving poor people that are in need.

The only thing I feel like I can brag about is my intelligence and determination. I’ve had to endure a lot of things that most people don’t go through in a life time.
