DEEP BLUE OCEAN WITH NEMO AND FRIENDS MISS. DE BREE 2 ND GRADE SCIENCE

DORY: BLUE TANG FISH Average Size: The Blue Tang Fish is about 5-15 inches…imagine a ruler. Colors: They are bright colors of yellow and blue as well as black. What they eat: They are herbivores! They feed on algae and other plant life in the wild.

THE JELLYFISH Average Size: The jellyfish can start out around 12 inches (a ruler) and grow over 12 feet (12 rulers). Colors: Jellyfish are a variety of colors. The are transparent! What they eat: They eat other fish by stinging them with their tentacles.

CRUSH: SEA TURTLE Average Size: They vary around 45 inches tall (4 rulers) and about 400 pounds. Colors: They have a variety of colors including green, brown, and yellow. What they eat: Their diet varies from eating meat at a young age, to eating plants when they are older.

NEMO & MARLIN: CLOWNFISH Average Size: They are 2-5 inches long. (half of a ruler) Colors: Clownfish can be orange, yellow, maroon, and have white stripes. What they eat: They eat food off of their home the anemone.

MR. RAY: STINGRAY Average Size: They can grow up to be 6.5 feet. Colors: They vary from blues, gray, black and white with spots. What they eat: They eat a variety of things including includes clams, oysters, shrimps, crabs, and mussels.

GILL: MOORISH IDOL FISH Average Size: They are about 9 inches in length. (about a ruler) Colors: They have bands of white, black and yellow. What they eat: They eat shrimp and vegetable like substances

BRUCE: GREAT WHITE SHARK Average Size: Their average length is 15ft. (or 15 rulers) Colors: The main colors are blue, gray, and white. What they eat: Sharks eat almost anything since they are at the top of the food chain.

THE CRABS Average Size: They are about the size of a ruler. Colors: They vary from orange, brown, red, blue, almost every color. What they eat: Their favorite food is shrimp.
