A merica The country that we live in. JFK was in charge of are country for almost three years. He was killed in his hometown in 1963.

B erlin wall A large wall built during thee cold war. Kennedy visited the wall in A few months before his death.

C ivil rights What people can and can’t do by law. Kennedy was particularly concerned with peoples rights. He thought it was very wrong.

D iversity Complete difference or unlikeness. Kennedy wanted America to support diversity, he wanted everybody to have equal rights. You would get in even more trouble today if you were mean to people by the color of they’re skin.

E ternal flame A never ending flame.. JFK has an eternal flame on his grave. Its been going since 1964

F amily The people who you live and share bonds with. Kennedys family was full of disease. His sister had adisons disease and son had graves disease.

G olf A sport using a ball and a metal club. Kennedy was a really good golfer. He didn’t have much time to play anyway.

H obbies Something you enjoy doing. Kennedy was very athletic. He enjoyed sports, sailing, swimming and football.

O bama Our 44 th president after George W. Bush the 43 rd. JFK and Obama are extremely alike. Some people think they were good and others don’t.

P resident A very important person, usually in charge of something very important. JFK was president for 2 and ¾ years. Before he was shot and killed by Lee Harvey Oswald.

Q uote A saying usually a famous one. JFK had many quotes his most famous was the ‘’Ask not’’ quote.

R epublican A group of people that support a republic. JFK was a great republican. He also served as a senator and politician.

S hot Firing something at someone. JFK was shot on Nov His killers name was Lee Harvey Oswald.

T ribute A memorial to a certain person. JFK had a special tribute. All presidents get special tributes if they die when they are still in office.

U niversity A special school for older kids. JFKU is a school for collegates, an adult school. It was founded in 1964 a few months after his death.

V ote To try and promote someone using a poll. JFK had about 45,000 votes. That was a lot back then.

W ife A girl a boy is supposed to love. JFK’s wife Jackie Kennedy was in the motorcade when JFK was shot. She is still alive today, but she is in her 80’s.

X -ray A scan of the inside of a person or animals body. JFK was given many head x-rays. That’s when they found the bullet lodged in his skull.

Y acht A very expensive boat usually large in size. JFK had many yachts. That’s not surprising for a president.

Z apruder film A film that a man took when JFK died. The man that took the films name was Abraham Zapruder. He sold it to Ripleys for over a million dollars.
